"Goddess De La Guerre"

Junk 2 Funk is an annual fashion show held by Savannah Arts Academy. The fashion show consisted of designs by students made completely out of unconventional materials instead of traditional fabrics. My garment, "Goddess De La Guerre", was made completely out of metal and took over three months to complete. Fitting the Egyptian "Mirage" theme, I took inspiration from the armor Egyptian warriors wore to battle. One of my biggest conceptual inspirations was the theatrical bliss of 90s haute couture, specifically the work of Thierry Mugler.
